Антиохийский патриархат. St Helen in Colchester may date from at least the 8th century, judging by the fact that King Offa built a chapel dedicated to St Helen in the ruins of the Roman theatre. Rebuilt by the Normans, it's still there and is now an Orthodox church. A Norman chapel in use as a warehouse after the Reformation, taken on by Quakers in the 18c and then by the new Diocese of St Albans as a chapter house in the 1880s. Redundant again in 1914, an Orthodox church since the 1970s.
